A friend of mine just signed his plea bargain, but his brother just decided to deny his and go to trial. They both were charged with Robbery with a Deadly Weapon and Aggravated Battery with Deadly Weapon. My friend got 5 years and some months,but if his brother looses trial then it's 85 years for him. Anyways, he told me that he have to go back to court and testify against him. What is the purpose of him doing that when they already know the truth? Someone told me that it will reduce his time.
