back pain

I have hot icy pain that goes down both buttocks. It also feels like i have a clothes pin on my right and sometimes left labia that is very painful. It also goes down the back of both my legs but the most uncomfortable is the "clothes pin on my labia feeling" My MRI results were 1. MILD BROAD-BASED POSTERIOR POSTEROLATERAL BULGING OF THE L5-S1 DISC ASSOCIATED WITH MINIMAL BILATERAL NEURAL FORAMINAL ENCROACHMENT. 2. MINIMAL BROAD-BASED POSTERIOR BULGING OF L4-5 DISC. With the term "minimal" used so much Im wondering why I have so much pain. I was doing fine until I had a bilateral plantar fasciotomy with heel spur removal on both feet a year ago and since then the back pain will not go away.I have now been diagnosed with tarsal tunnel in both feet. Is there any help for me?Has anybody else experienced pain of this nature?
 
Hi and Welcome to the board! I am sorry that you had to meet us this way and it sounRAB like you have some pretty painful tender pain there. (((HUGS)) What are the doctors saying, have they given you any medications or treatment plan?

Sometimes you can have very little showing on the xrays and suffer dearly. It sounRAB like you have nerve involvement and nerve pain is the worst.
 
I have an apt. with a orthopedic surgeon on the 13 of march but in the mean time they have been giving me loaRAB of vicodin because Im already on celebrex(for my foot problem). My regular doctor hasn't told me anything. It's just so depressing to not be able to dance, walk or make love. These are important things that bring us joy and a reason to keep going on. I feel older than I ever have in my life.I just want to know that through some kind of therapy I will be able to do the things i used to do. The chronic pain wears me down. My doctor put me on disability so all I do is stay at home and feel useless. I think work defines who we are or at least helps us see what we want to be.I dont know what the MRI results mean thats why I posted this. I will be thankful for any input.
