Hi there, looking for suggestions. Not new to the site but haven't been here in a long time. I finally got this all set up again and hoping someone can remeraber me and maybe point me in the right direction as I get alot of help comeing here from many:). I am getting to were I can't stand this foot pain , when I walk , bend stress the back my toes curl and such, my foot cramps up not to mention the nerve pain. I am wondering if it would be worth going back to the first surgeon and having him push to maybe do something as he stated in the past this will not be fixed unless my back is fixed, of course how can this be fixed if they wont do anything, be of course all they want to do is temporary relieve the pain and mask it? I have herniated disc, disc protrusion and this will go in and out depending on what I do and I have spine arthritis and a transitional vertabrea wich they say has nothing to do with it, I beg to differ? And then of course the nerve that pinches! Any help please I am only getting older and this is only going to get worse with age and wear and tear. Yes I have gone through months of pt tome again with no relief and injections with no relife, tried a tens unit ect. The closet I have came to some relief of being able to move when I get out of bed in the mornings is my last dr. prescribing me what's called Mobic and this has helped some but not a complete fix by far!
Thanks a bunch!

SounRAB like you need a second opinion. If it's causing you so much discomfort then you either need a surgery to have it corrected or you should see a pain specialist for other options.

I suffer from the same thing so I know how much fun it is(nt). Sometimes I feel like my leg is in a vice and I can't feel my toes. I had a surgeon tell me earlier this year that my herniated disc didn't concern him in the least and that the pain was all in my head, that it was actually me wanting to be in pain so I could take more pain meRAB.... yeah, he really said that. Never met the guy before that day either. Just crazy.
Get a referral to another surgeon imo.
