Hi everyone. About 14 months ago I was in a minor car accident sitting in the front passenger seat. We were hit on the front driver's side, I'm not really clear on this... but I think my husband was thrown into my left side.
Right after the accident, I had a burning sensation in my left arm and the left side of my back, did not go to hospital. I went to my Dr. about 6 weeks later because I was having pain and weakness on that side. They did X-rays on my arm, neck, shoulder and spine, could not find any thing wrong. I was doing okay until just before Thanksgiving, I would have a dull achiness in the lower left of my back and shoulder blade area. Now it is getting worse, with a very tender spot on the bottom of my rib cage on that side. Heating paRAB and pain relievers do not seem to help. I have done nothing to aggravate whatever injury I might have.
Sorry this is so long, but my main question is why would it take 14 months for the pain to suddenly get so bad?
Anyone out there have a similar experience? Thanks in advance for any answers or advice, and i will be going back to the Dr.
