Back of tooth sharp? There appears to be very slightly less gum behind one tooth! HELP!?

Basically, I just tongued the back of my tooth, and noticed that the back of the tooth was sharp and had a different texture.
I looked in the mirror (with great difficulty) and noticed that it is a very bright white, surrounded by the rest of my slightly paler tooth.

I normally care for my teeth very carefully, but I'm open to anything you advise or inform me of.
It does not feel loose. Please help!
