Hi, Im new here to this website and I need some advice!
On the 12th of Aug I injured my back at work lifting a mop bucket of water(those big yellow ones).
I'm 23 by the way and my job is on my feet 8 hrs a day, lifting, bending, not a minimal labor job. But I have been doing it for over 4 years now.
My MRI results are...
L4-L5 MILD DISC SPACE NARROWING, DISC DESICCATION AND MILD CIRCUMFERENTIAL DISC BULGING, SMALL CENTRAL DISC PROTRUSION CAUSING MILD INDENTATION OF ANTERIOR ASPECT OF THE THECAL SAC.
L5-S1 MILD DISC SPACE NARROWING, DISC DESICCATION AND MILD CIRCUMFERENTIAL DISC BULGING SUGGESTING DDD. SMALL CENTRAL DISC PROTRUSION CAUSING MILD INDENTATION ALONG ANTERIOR ASPECT OF THECAL SAC.
DISC SPACE NARROWING, DISC BULGING, AND SMALL CENTRAL DISC HERNIATIONS ARE SEEN AT L4-L5 AND L5-S1.
I'm on w/c until cleared 100% back to work on full duty b/c there is NO light duty in my job.
I have an appointment for pain manegment and epideral shots in a week. Am I too young for DDD? And could my job be a factor in why I have this? And is it likely from this injury that in the future I will have more problems? Should I get a lawyer and try to get a settlement? If anyone eles has been in a simalar situation please offer some advice!
Thank you so much!

yes, I figured I would need one. Is there a chance for a settlement? And do you think that this will affect me down the line as I get older?

Also the lady said that she cut the first check yesterday for my wages I have missed so far...if I get a lawyer will this prolong my checks coming?
This is so scary and fustrating? I have bills and my job is not sitting around so I'm scared that when they do release me that it could happen again!
