Back Injection are painful. Don't let them tell you they are not

Think this last ijection the surgeon nailed it as he said. I feel dynomite. But sleepy.
 
I know some of these injections hurt because I could hardly walk after a round of facet joint injections a while back but as I have said that if you are already tense and sore this sometimes is not the best time for the needles as they seem to make my pain worse before it settles down, even with the lidacane.
Could someone explain about all the different types of injections as I don't know what a trigger point is let alone a cadean. And epidural is that into the dura around the spinal cord? May need to start a new thread though, as I keep getting slapped on the wrist for doing something wrong. I am here for the subject of painful needles and the only way I can tell anyone about the subject is to talk about my experiences. That is what I have been taught, but hey I don't run the place. Your doctor will explain the injection he is going to perform on you. That's the only injection you need to study up on. I think just a couple shots should be the rule of thurab to relieve pain.
 
My Pm nurabs me with novacaine before he does the injection. And because I am fused from T9 to my sacrum, I have caudal injections. Where they go in from the bottom of your tainbone and go straight up. Not the most pleasant experience... But all I suffer is some minor hot pressure feeling because my PM is that good. I wouldn't let anyone else there do the shots.. that and I brought my teddy bear along.
