baby whines when she needs to poop?

is this normal?
i think that she has colic or something because she battles when she poops. she complains and cant be soothed until she lets out this great big wind and a really runny poop.
is this normal? could i be feeding her to much or something. her poop is sometimes orange or green.
is this normal?
could it be that she is eating to much? i feed her every three hours. i have to wake her for feeds
the poops are like water, they definitely are not dry!
 
if she's whining while pooping, sounds like she might be a little constipated! if the poop is very dry, make sure she is enough formula/breastmilk when she is hungry. you can help her poop easier by massaging her belly or doing a bicycle motion by bending her knees to the tummy (this helps release trapped gas). ask a dr. before offering medicine, but when my son had problem I would give him gas drops or gripe water and they both helped a little. the color of the poop sounds normal. only time to be concerned with poop color is if it is black/red (blood) or white (possible liver/digestion issue)! she could be just very gassy..i would say she might be constipated but if her poop is runny and she goes then that isnt it...her poop is those colors because of what she eats. sweet potatoes and carrots turn it orange and when i give my son blue cool aid his poop is a blue green color...theres this medicine called mylicon. it did wonders for my son its for gas...give that a try it helped my son alot
