Which one is better of the two? I have a baby bouncer, and thinking about adding a baby swing to the nursery as well. Is it really worth investing in a baby swing? How frequently do you use yours?
I have two little boys and I would not have survived without the baby swing. I use it daily. My youngest is four months old and he fights going down for naps and the swing is the only way to get him down. I love it. My older boy was the same way. But some babys won't stand a swing, so I would recommend getting one used, which is just as good and can cost a lot less. Try a consignment store or craigslist for good deals.
We had both and after the first week we used the bouncer exclusively. The bouncer is more easily transported and put the baby to sleep just as easily as the swing.
Both are great! The swing you can only use till about 5 or 6 months though so if you don't mind try looking on craigslist or your local baby consignment shop for a used one.
Get one that swings sideways, not front to back. My daughter LOVED her Fisher Price rain forest one, I was sad when I had to take it down lol...
I had both and both kids loved swing better. they occasionally slept in it and just chilled. they liked the motion. Bouncer didn't do too much for them when they were past 1 month.
With my son we had both and he hated the bouncer. He would kick and scream to get out of it. For us the bouncer seat was a waste of money. The swing he LOVED and he would fuss when it was time to get out of it. He loved his swing. It was the best investment ever! The other thing that he just loved was the exersaucer. We got one that could grow with him through the first year and he would spend what seemed like hours in it bouncing and playing. If you have to invest the money I'd go for the swing and exersaucer.

We had both for our son and he didn't like his swing at all but loved his bouncer! Every baby is different though and if you plan on having more it might be worth the investment.
