yes you will. A ferret will not reach its full form and sexuality until it is at least a year old. You will need to get your female fixed at about 6 months. Female ferrets go into heat and never come out of it unless they are breeding ferrets. They could die from it. Female ferrets should always be fixed.
I keep all my kids together. My girl is fixed, my eldest boy may/may not be (the place I got him is not reliable), and my baby is not. I am probably not going to fix them, because my girl is. That is all that matters in the long run.
