...obviously he has no financial worries? in his personal life (mortgages should have been paid off and all other loans paid off as well) How can he think that everyone working for them should work for free for a months, people on low income in BA earns probably between £500 to £1800 per month and all their day to day lives depends on their salary. The BA Boss should be sacked for such coments, obviously he doesnt know what he is doing, i go to airports everyday, in normal times they have double the number of staff and contracters while in busy times i cant find noone to help. Balance your act and business startegy through a new boss with lower pay by rethinking a whole new strategy and suitable cost cutteing schemes. Comments please
 
That's the nature of capitalism my friend. Those at the bottom are exploited, and shat upon by those at the top. How can these execs of bailed out banks and money haemmoraging companies justify their high salaries, bonuses and massive pensions when they've completely f****d up?!
 
The BA boss is thinking that British Airways is over staff with lower paid staff and contractors and instead of laying them off, he suggested they should work for free for a month.In a way he is showing concern of their employment with the airline.
 
Well said, I agree. He tries to put the blame on fuel prices. Well Virgin never c**ked up where fuel was concerned and nearly doubled their profits. BA is as bad as a failed bank .

In my opinion, no one should be asked to work for free. Especially no one in the airline industry!
