You obviously have a skewed perception of mexicans. 90% of the ones here aren't like that.

It doesn't need to be fully stopped, it just needs to be heavily stifled. Im aware that it can never be stopped, but you can damn sure try and make an effort to slow it the hell down.

If a person is an illegal, owns, rents, a home in the us and lives there as a permanent residence (ie not visiting etc.,) then any children they have will be us citizens.

Pretty simple terms even for joe_fool to understand.

As always, you have made an excellent argument whose sheer force of logic compels me to reconsider my own position.

more jobs with federal spending, federal benefits, and federal pensions...sounds like the antithesis of right-wing economics to me.

I agree with AZ's point, this country shouldn't automatically grant citizenship to some kid who was squirted out on US soil by two non-US citizens. That wasn't the intent of the 14th Amendment.

But sadly, this AZ law isn't going to be declared Constitutional.

Well, I did watch the old Mexican who was driving back and forth to the dump with my old roof almost cause an accident by crossing a lane into our neighborhood when a car was coming the other way. The car slammed on it's brakes and had to go into the other lane to not hit him. Impressive driving on their part. All the Mexicans on the roof stoop up and starting whooping and applauding him and yelled things in Spanish that I didn't understand

My 8 year old told me that everyone on the roof was brown, just like him.

violence doesnt spill over in el paso. in fact, it's one of the safest places in the country....why????

No, moron, they are subject to a foreign power, and not here lawfully.

And when this goes to the supreme court, they will build on earlier precedent and say that for a baby to be a US citizen, the parents must not only be permanent residents, but must be permanent LAWFUL residents.

Have you ever heard of something called an incentive? You sound very smart, you don't like illegal immigration but you support things which drastically encourage its occurance

Try all you want to make a better life. That doesn't burden us with the obligation to welcome you if you cross our borders illegally.

It's a waste of everyone's time to try and pass something like this. Although I do agree with the immigration law that was passed, this law just goes against the Constitution and spits on it.

I also wish California would enforce our immigration law.
