no, really, it's not totally necassary to quote every word, and this thread is getting dumber by the post. we've all agreed that people can't agree on beliefs, now all you guys are doing is debating over meaningless facts.

Not that I do not believe Im just on the fence about the whole church thing! So many atrocities in the name of god carried out by the church! Now that we're out of the 15th century they mostly want your money and it ain't a half bad way to raise your kids till they can draw their own conclusions!
 
I agree with everything you said, I started looking for a Church again (after being turned off by my strict Baptist upbringing) when I had kids. I think it is about finding the right Church. What works for you and your family... Never the same for every person even in the same church family (keep in mind I use the term Church loosely because I don't believe that a church is a building but a group of believers, we commonly use the word church to mean a building or a place so in this response that is the way I used it..., FYI for those who care)

Actually I was insulted. BUT, given the fact that you're big enough to appologize I think I can be big enough to say I disagree with most of your view points but will respect them as yours. And that I too appologize for being a wee bit of a cock about the whole damn thing.

Everyone has thier beliefs. I have faith in God, although I do not agree with organized religion, I do believe in my faith, and my soul. My boyfriend is an athiest. You make your own choices in this world, and no amount of having shit shoved down your throat is going to change that. You have the choice to believe, or not to believe. I choose to believe, In God, in Jesus, and in much more. I dont think I would be alive today if I didnt have my "imaginary friend for grown ups" But I need that. When I look at my children, I need to believe that there is more than hope in life for them, there is hope after life. Mabye you dont need to believe that. But I do.

There is more to this world than what rests upon the surface. Seek your own truth, find it, cling to it, have faith in it.

And never let anyone tell you differently.
 
I have no issue with you and hold no malice towards people with differing opinions, faiths, etc. But if you feel it best to not cross my path, that is a choice you will have to make.

Some say that judgement day is coming soon, wether that is true or not, who knows. But when you look at Jesus and he says, "Depart, i dont know you". You will wish that you had listened to him. And i dont see/hear of maricles happening to this very day because of people worshiping 'budda' or what ever god some people beleive in. I hear of maricles happening when someone asks Jesus or God to help someone in need.

I thought the post was short but to the point and in the correct forum. I don't think this guy is trying to preach, per say. Only offering a solution that worked for him for you to try in dealing with your troubles. Don't be assholes and bash this dude's faith... To each their own. I also don't see why everyone is getting all ancy about this shit. WTF?!
