Awh, this is weird, I need help...?

Okay, so I met this guy like in September because he was in my college. And I just thought he was amazing, and developed a little fancy for him. It wasn't anything serious, and I wasn't planning on making it serious (because I wanted to get to know him first).

So now we're best friends, and just can't go a second without talking to each other, but he has a gf. Its weird though because his gf always breaks up with him, and then gets back with him the next day (and I'm always the one that has to take him out and make him feel better etc.)
I've never told him not to get back with his gf or anything because I feel like that is something he has to decide himself without any outside influence. And I also never told him how I really feel about him (for the same reason).

I actually stopped liking him as more than a friend until the last day, I took him to the movies because he was very upset, and he said 'you know, I would've definatly asked you out by now if I didn't have a gf'.
I found that really weird, but still didn't say anything...
But eversince he said that, I feel like I really really like him and really want to be with him.

Btw, he broke up with her a couple of times aswell, because he couldn't stand how mean she was being to him.
 
i'd say he and his gf break up for good if she treats him bad, then you guys could go out. he says he would ask you out, and you really like him. seems like a fine pair to me :)
 
ok tell him.... it's time to tell the dude!!! once he breaks up with her then tell him the minute you get a chance!!! tell him you can't stand him being upset all the time, tell him you want him to be happy, tell him you want to make him happy! you want to be his girlfriend! just swallow your gutts and take a chance! tell him you gotta let your feelings out before he get's back together with her and dose it all over again, tell him he deserves a steady relationship that isn't a rollarcoster rideing up and down,
 
Go for it. its obvious he likes you, and its obvious your infatuated by him. the agony is only gonna get worse the longer you wait to ask him to dump that bitch so he can have a girl that will treat him well!
