Awful periods and I am going crazy please help me.?

My periods are so bad I throw up my cramps have me on the floor at times. I tried birth control the first one I forgot what it was called..it was probably the best one even though I was bleeding a lot.I tried Microgestin acne has gotten awful I was dizzy and had stomach problems I even developed a brown skin discoloration under my lip. I went off of it on my own and the next day I woke up from pain and thought I wet myself it was just blood dripping all over me (Nasty I know I'm sorry) I went to the doctor and she gave me some ponstel to try out. It's down to this or stop my period with "the shots" or Implanon or something else. I'm lost I researched Implanon it seems like every has had horrible side effects. I looked at Nuvaring it's not for me and it seems just as bad. I am not too sure about the shot. I need some help. What's out there? Is there any hope for me? I'm 17 and I have gone down hill so bad I am so depressed and I find myself getting sadder and sadder with each failed attempt at fixing my problem. I am not sexually active (thought I would add that)
