I'm trying to locate one as a present for my friend. We saw a couple of these backpacks on passersby, most frequently while we were in Europe, all of whom said they got it decades ago in shops that are by now defunct. I dont think they make them anymore. But to find some I need to find out what they're called..
These backpacks come in a lot of different colors (eachone we've seen is unique) although the structure is basically the same. all i remember is that they are like regular 2-strap backpacks, but bigger (taller) and boxier, with many pockets,
and they were always very retro-looking, very busy multi-colored
may have been backpacking packs, but nothing like the modern very functional shiny types
and the people who had them always loved them immensely, hence why they still used them, hence why i want to find one for my friend
do you guys know they name of the brand?? i think there may have been more than one brand that sold this type of backpack
and/or even better, do you know where i might find one?
