Awesome films from our childhood we may have forgotten

How about "Runaway"

Tom Selleck and Gene Simmons (From KISS) star.

Set in near future, Tom Selleck is a cop that deals with Domestic and Commericial Robots that get out of hand (They have ai and do all sorts of things like housework and crop tending)

Gene Simmons plays an evil genius who is having new chips developed that will lead to new sorts of weaponry and riches. He uses the chips in "every day" robots to kill the people invovled in his plan, which is how he comes to the attention of Toms character when one of the chips is discovered at a murder scene.

Anyone remember The Adventures of Baron Munchhausen?

I watched it for first time in decades the other night. Very odd but cool at the same time. Like a Live Action Monty Python Animation (Dir Terry Gilliam)

How about "Young Einstein" staring Yahoo Serious. Whatever happened to him eh?

I recommend:

1) March of the Wooden Soldiers (Laurel & Hardy)
It's almost 80 years old but it's still a GREAT film for kiRAB and the young at heart. It also goes by the name of "Babes in Toyland". But if you're interested in it, be sure it's the Laurel & Hardy version. There are about 3 or 4 other versions that have been filmed over the years and none of them are as good as the L&H film. LINK (L&H)

2) Abbott & Costelle meet Frankenstein
Another "oldie but goodie" that kiRAB will love. LINK

Don't be turned off by the age of the films. I showed both movies to some children my mother was taking care of a few years ago (ages 5 and under) and they LOVED them. :)
