uh oh... planning to see Awake at the cinema this weekend but i've read two reviews where it's been rated 1 out of 5 already. (courtesy of Empire and Total Film)

Has anyone already seen this? Is it worth watching?
 
I don't think the reviews have been too great.Apparently some of the plot twists are a bit laughable

Might have a look because I've got an unlimited card but I'm not desperate to see it....
 
I've seen it, its not too bad. I'd give it about 5/10 - very slow at the start but speeRAB up as the storyline twists and turns. It's only about 1hr 20mins long from what I recall.
 
from what I have read most reviews say ok thriller shame about the acting..... but then if you have a umlimited card one does not care and will go see anything, i am such a tart:rolleyes::rolleyes:;);););):D:cool::p
 
I started off quite well. The actual premise of the movie is quite original, but after half an hour or so the plot twists rendered it as just another stereotypical plot twisty hollywood movie.

Some of them were pretty laughable. Would give it 4/10.
 
Ive seen this also, was a while back now and to be honest I cant remember too much about it so that says alot.

From what I do remember its about a 5 out of 10 movie. I certainly wouldnt pay to see it.
 
I saw this today & have to agree with the above. It showed promise in the beginning then quickly declined & became thoroughly predictable.....a real shame as the idea was great but executed so poorly. By the 1/2 way point a few people left the cinema...I was bored & fighting to stay awake however my mate wanted to watch it so I was stuck:(

If I didn't have an unlimited card I would've been :mad: that I'd paid to watch it.
 
Yep! But then I find that with a lot of movies they put all the good parts in the trailers.....

To be fair, it's far from being the worst movie I've ever seen, & as I said the idea itself was good....Perhaps a better Director would've made all the difference. If you have an Unlimited card, then go watch it with an open mind & see what you think:)
 
I quite enjoyed it, didnt notive the lame acting though maybe I am just getting old. I saw it on a unlimited card and worth a look unlike the dire meet the spartans now I went monetary compensation for having to sit thru that even for free:mad::mad::mad:
 
wow what an awful film

the acting (especially by hayden) was atrocious

and im sorry but they would let his wife wander into an operating room without protective clothing etc??

the whole thing was ridiculous
