hellooooooooo, joey here, well, i saw AVP at the weekend, and i will admit that some bits are too funny to laugh at but this could be the best ever film created by merging films over..... i mean freddy vs jason was good, but very original but this is bloody fantastic...... just thought id say!!!! :cool:

I've read it is a pile of crap. And this is from reviewers who love the Alien films. I will probably wait until the DVD comes out next Spring and see for myself.
 
Its shit beyond shit. I didnt find anything fun in it at all!

Save your money and watch Freddy-VS-Jason............At least that film doesnt take it self too seriously!

i wouldnt go as far as to say it was shit, if you havent seen it then you CANT say its shit, cos you dont know, and you read reviews of people who think its shit, if you listened to all that crap, then you wouldnt see films at all, i personally liked it cos i like both alien and predator films......
even if none of you like it, i love it..... :cool:
 
Well excuse me mister "i sit on a high chair above you" :p , i didnt read the reviews and i certainly dont get influenced by them.........But i watched this movie and thought it was shit!

And how can you say you are a fan of the original films and think this is great?

Thats an insult to the originals as far as i am concerned lol!
 
Apparently the cuts of violence are obvious and to an extent annoying, cos the film seems to childish in terms of violence. So I do believe there originally was alot more blood and gore, and it's being kept for a special edition DVD release early next year.

watched it yesterday, better than i thought it was going to be. there are plenty close-ups of the alien and predator, more so than some of their on movies. fair enough, it should have been gore fest 18 for the fans but it's not bad really
 
As a fan of both film series Im going to wait for the DVD to come out.. as some have said to really do the film justice it had to be an 18, so I had my doubts as soon as it was announced as PG13 in the States.

Another worrying thing is that I heard a few people say they watched it and laughed at a few parts.. I dont know about anyone else but Aliens and Predator films should scare the s**t out of you, not make you laugh!
