Average mileage of a Honda Accord?

About how many miles will a Honda Accord run? I've got one with 175k miles on it and it's going to be about 1200 bucks to fix. I know that every car is different but I'm looking for an average. My brother sold his Honda with 300k miles on it and it still ran! Is this normal? About how many miles can someone expect from a honda?
It's a 1993 Honda.
 
alot if you do good maintence have the valves adjusted change the oil/ spark plugs etc expect about 225k bad maintence or 400k+ with good maintence, what year is your accord?
