Average age of Duc sportbike owners

A good mix so far! I guess we tend to be older - or 'yuppies' - to afford these things..
Part of me wishes I'd had a 1098S when I was 19, and doing a lot of mechanical work to keep my '69 Triumph at it's best - the other part of me knows I wouldn't be alive if I had..

I can understand that being young. I often think god i hope i dont make a mistake today.
I also get the "you better come back because if you end up in the hospital im taking you for half of everything, love you" talk.

I'm 27.

When I worked at a Ducati dealer, it was typically the young professional or successful..er...gentlemen *ahem*...that were most likely to buy a Ducati. It's a premium brand, with a premium price, so they typically require a more financially established individual. We always had the droolers and the guys that would say 'I don't see why Ducatis are worth so much'...those weren't buyers and usually, either because of age or financial situation...or both.

I would say an average age for a superbike buyer would be around 30-32....of course you will have outliers. We sold an 1198 to a guy that was 60something and 848s to military guys with money to burn at age 20.

I got my first ducati in my late 20's, I'll be 32 this year.

Though it seems, the older I get the more risks I take on motorcycles. First roadracing and now motocross!

Most of the people I see ride Ducati's are my age or older.
