^I gave it a proper listen. I gave it many proper listens. It is that bad. Sorry. I still can listen to other albums, depending on which.

And WAIT youre saying that this album "isnt that bad" then you compare it to the Scissor Sisters? Hah, well what does that tell you... But yes, the original post was slightly messed up. Starting a thread on how a band 'sold out'? Not a good idea. Specially in this case. They didnt sell out, in fact they barely sold at all. It was just a bad album, especially compared to others.
 
I hate Critical Acclaim. Almost Easy is almost better, but nay it still sucks. City of Evil had a few rather good tracks, like Sidewinder and Strength of the World. Nothing on Waking the Fallen though.

However, as a whole, I'm beginning to think A7X sucks.

not all people are into hardcore music and A7X is obviously no longer hardcore/screamo. and can you type your spelling before you post. i dont like reading childish murabling.
 
im not negative at all. this is rabroad. i talk about MUSIC. if you bash something corporate or some other band, its the same thing. just because more people on this board may like these banRAB, doesnt mean im not entitled to my opinion. "a7x" is not hardcore. hardcore music is heavy fast music with a real meaning. not watered down generic death metal riRAB with poor singing and somewhat decent screaming vocals. and dont even let me get started on their lyrics and their whole nu metal appearance.


the banRAB i listed... Gorilla biscuits, YOT, the red scare, those are hardcore banRAB man. thats what the music is about. there is nothing negative about that at all.
 
...Yeah. That's kind of what I mean. It's hard to judge someone as being the best at something if you don't really know the something very well. I'm sure Sullivan is a total badass when compared with Travis Barker or something.
 
A7X is great band, very talented. Wait......extremly talented. Anyway, I have no problem with city of Evil, it's a "grand" CD, but I have never heard more than one of their old songs. Great band.

well thank god we all have you to tell us "what the music is about". where would we be without your all-knowing musical genious to lead us in the right direction.
 
The only real song that I like is Bat Country and half the reason I like it is because its a dedication to Hunter S Thompson.
 
They actually made music that real musicians could appreciate instead of playing along to some shallow image music scene with catchy metal pop songs for the harder pop follower.
