I know i've done this before, but now i'm going in a different direction. Now we're going to compare what one show had that the other didn't. Which show did better in the following regards?

Battles

Character development

Story

Main Villains

Dialogue

Humor

Use of the concept of powers over the elements
 
I think I remember that thread from before I became a member here ... Didn't turn out so well, but I do love the similarities you can find.

Umm I guess they are kinda similar: Anime influenced shows based on martial arts mixed with elemental combat. I guess I'll say XS had better humor, I felt the dialog in Avatar was really painful and dumb when they tried to be funny... especially anything Sokka said. XS was also more creative with their powers since it involved the Shen Gong Wu a lot and they did more with the elements. I'd say Avatar had a bit better story though. I liked the villains in XS more; Chase was kinda cool where as Ozai was just there and had no character at all.. Even that little bean guy they introduced was a better character than him :sweat:
