ha! what a coincidence! just on imdb, clicked around and saw on lastairbenderfans.com that a press and photo release on the cast will come out at the end of june! interesting...and it also says a teaser trailer will be out by then too.
 
haha i never realized we had no list! we might as well have one. With the movie coming out next year its going to be a long haul. maybe we just have to get a atla forum if the movie attracts more people. :)

omg i can't wait for the trailer, everyday i'm waiting for it. i wont be able to watch transformers but man i wanna see the trailer so bad. i hope its good.

well i'm glad i got to see the cast photos before Paramount asks to take them down.

do you guys know if the pop up episodes are online? i can only watch from the internet at the moment, and i think they would be cool to watch.

OT: omg i just finished watching Harper's Island online-what an awesome series!! i love cal/chloe! to bad its over.
 
I'm glad you loved Wall-E, Allison. :D I recently bought the DVD. It's adorable. And BTW I saw Slumdog this weekend – my first R rated movie – and I really liked it! :nod: (The dancing at the end took me by surprise but it was awesome as well). See, I can handle R rated movies if they were rated for some violence and language. It's the sexual situations that I'm wary of (with American R rated films).



I'll look into that, thanks for the recommendation. I don't watch movies at all so rather than waste money on a theater ticket for a movie I might not like, I'd rather wait until it's out on DVD so I can rent it (usually on the recommendation of my friend but I'm thinking nowadays it wouldn't hurt to get recommendations from my internet peeps. :cool:)

Avatar, no matter how crappy it might turn out *knock on wood* is definitely a movie I'll be watching in theaters.



Stacey, thanks for that link but I'm wary of it's accuracy (I hear from people that IMDB is not always 100% trustworthy). I still think Dev Patel would make a better Sokka, in fact I think he should switch roles with Jackson Rathbone (the one currently in the running for Sokka). :)

Seriously, It looks like they're switching the races of most of the cast and I have no idea why.
 
I think Harmony and Harmonians applies to the entire fandom whereas Aurors applies to the fanforum Harmony fans...I think :look:

i think i remeraber M saying that Momo is in the movie (he said something like he asked his kiRAB if they would be mad if he didn't put Momo in, and they like flipped out on him haha)


i think the 3D will be good. One of the producers said they had been working on it for months and just waited to show to the studio. And apparently it's being run by the same people who did the 3D for Avatar. So hopefully it won't be a mess like Clash of the Titans' 3D lol

Okay, so did anyone know they were planning on doing a manga for The Last Airbender? It's supposed to be a prequel to the events of the first movie (like Zuko's banishment and such).

It's a little odd for me because they're doing it for the movie but I think they'll be using, more or less, the cartoon style of drawing to do this manga sequel. Hmmm. Well anyway, I might buy the manga when it comes out. :)
 
Canadian manga? Well there's something you don't see typed everyday. :lol: And what has Mai's VA been up to anyway? (Sucks that I haven't heard much from the original cast VAs...)

I never thought he'd actually tan. I think he was just being a punk during that interview and so I'm gonna give him a hard time.

Honestly, I'm hoping that the main reason he was cast (besides being a decent actor) is because they cast the girl who is playing Katara first and needed someone who looked similar to her to play her brother.
 
I do think it counts. And it seems like the movies like to indulge the Harmony (I like that shippy name... why did you gals change it?) fans more than the books. I'm looking forward to the dream kissing scene between those two in the last movie. :look: But I digress.

Allison watches Community too? Awesomeness! :D And it really is totally shippable (I even like Jeff with Prof. Slater. They're pretty cool.)

As for the pictures on the movie site, you'd think they'd have a few more stills of cast merabers but I do believe that's Suki in the right-hand side on the background with her kickass fan. :cool:
 
I have much hopes for the new series. I would take anything Mike and Bryan (:love:) give to wash away the existence of M. Night Shamadingalong's atrocity of a movie that should never be mentioned. :no: I loved the ATLA series, and it broke my heart to have a movie adaptation of such an amazing storyline butchered by Hollywood.
