The Abyss is a fantastic piece of cinema and was revolutionary at the time.
The Directors Cut has an alternate ending which kicks the ass of the theatrical version.

Yeah, it is. Basically to get the time down for the original theatrical release, they removed the plot! It actually makes sense in the director's cut... well worth a revisit on DVD.

more like $400 spent on Titanic! they filmed the special effect shots wrong - mainly the boat sailing the wrong way, so had to do all effects again!

i thought Titanic was okay. it did seem to put an end to Cameron's film career. it seemed he had made such a big box office smash - he didnt need to do a film again.

i have missed him - and looking forward to Avatar. i have been a fan of Cameron's movies for a long while.

i have to agree with folk on here though - the trailer doesnt look all that impressive. but i am certain it will be - and will look spectacular on the big screen in 3D!!!!
