Avatar DVD

well from what I have read from others we could see a extended edition with all the features released and a seperate 3D version.... this is just what I have read on other forums I don't know if it's true or not

What you need is a version that's been helpfully split into 3 equal pieces. :D

that, or an empty orange juice carton :o

or watch it on a laptop and just take it witcha. :)

Woh I cant beleive the steelbook is going for that price already:eek: I only ordered mine on the 17th of April from Play.com and it said there were no t-shirts left but when it came on monday it had the t-shirt inside so I gave it to my daughter(might have to take it back and reseal it;)) she loves reading the book though, may have to look after this one just in case;)
As for the previous post about breking recorRAB heres the figures so far from Blu ray digest.

The previous record was the dark knight and that took 18 months to sell that amount:eek:

How have you been ripped off?

As for 3D... Well, it's a DVD, what did you expect?... You'd need a 3D compatible Blu-ray player + 3D TV + 3D glasses + Avatar 3D Blu-ray (which of course isn't out yet, but will surely be released later in the year).

I think that no t-shirts part was for people who didn't pre order it in time, I wasn't expecting a t-shirt but got it lol.

It's sold more on dvd than blu ray in America, well when the news first came out it had.

Just popped the Blu Ray in to have a look at it, and wow, it looks amazing. From that brief glimpse alone it looks like it might have finally toppled 'Pans Labyrinth' as the most stunning looking BR i've seen.

The blu ray version is rather fantastic, amazing quality. So today I tried the dvd in a normal player(not upscaling) and it looks terrible compared, so terrible I've refused to let someone watch the dvd until I bring the blu ray player down for them to watch the blu ray version.

Do you actually need all that for 3d though??
Couldn't they just do what Channel 4 did when they had that 3d week?? It wouldn't be amazing quality but at least people'd still have the option to watch it in 3d.

3d blu-ray is different to the 3d we are used to as seen on ch4, if i am right it will be like sky have done i think and the same image is sent to the TV twice and on normal TV it would be same image in a split screen fashion, which is corrected on a 3d-tv.

so the need for 3d-tv and 3d glasses are needed...... if i'm wrong please do correct me
