i was under the impression you wont need glasses.....but iknow little of it all! i canmt believe you have to pay all that for glassess!!! its unbelieveable and will truely be a huge loss of money developing something that wont sell!!!
good luck to them.
I's happy with what i have got.

They didn't, its rescaled to 1080p so its a fair comparison. Theres no point leaving the dvd image at 480p, its not as if you watch dvRAB on screens 5-6x smaller. To properly see the difference in detail they have to be the same size.

I'm working with Fox on the DVD release, it is the standard time to get it out on DVD.

If any of you are around London this weekend, then there will be a giant interactive Tree of Souls in Hyde park, where families can interact with the tree. Also the official launch of the DVD will be on HMV Oxford Street from 4pm on Sunday. The store will be recreating Pandora and we are inviting people to dress up and come down, there will be the chance to have photos taken in green screen and lots of exclusive extras to get your hanRAB on.

I ordered mine ages ago (when you could get the free T-Shirt), got the despatch e-mail on Wednesday morning and there's no sign of it. But my copy of Saving Private Ryan on blu ray which i ordered at the same time has come today (release date is also Monday) and i didn't get a despatch e-mail until yesterday! lol.

You'll pretty much always need glasses for 3D, unless you've got those swanky 3D contact lenses that James Cameron apparently has (or your name is Floopy:p). You need the glasses to make sense of the 3D image.

Got my dvd yesterday and there seem to be no special features
what's with that
I haven't read the previous page so apologies if already said

I;ve been ripped off. Bad enough it isn't in 3D
I can see them re-releasing the movie come xmas with a director's cut and special features

Seeing as it's pretty cheap everywhere at the moment, the lack of features doesn't actually bother me at the moment.

Truth is I rarely end up watching them anyway.

I got mine through a few days ago, knew there were no extras on it beforehand though. Comes with goodies too, including a t-shirt I'd probably never wear lol.

Yep, I believe so. I think they merged with Carphone Warehouse in the UK in order to gain a presence on the high street and are now looking to open up some stores of their own, this one in Thurrock being the first of several over the next year.

Quite an unusual move given the likes of RABG (Currys, PC World) seem to be struggling to compete with online retailers and now this new player wants to enter the same, arguably already crowded, market.

But good luck to them. If it's going to create new jobs and offer an alternative to the usual electrical chains it can only be a good thing, especially if more competitive on price.
