Avatar day on 21st August - Jimbo Cameron's huge new film. Special preview footage at selected 3d screens worldwide...

How excited or not are you about this.....

If the buzz is to be believed this film is going to be massive!
 
Ooooooooooooooooooooooooh dear.

First of all, am a huge Cameron fan. Adored Titanic, T2, Aliens. Been really looking forward to this for years. And it all looks like a cartoon. I've yet to see any live action film that actually looks like a cartoon be remotely engaging.

When your hopes rest on the premise that "maybe they're showing us the worst bits so we'll be really impressed with the real thing" it doesn't 'arf sound like wishful thinking...
 
I'm not sure tbh, read the report on the movie news section of RAB and on Empire website today (very boring day at work ;) )

should be announced soon i think. wonder whether it will be on before another film starts like a normal trailer....Final Destination 3D is out that weekend so might piggy back that possibly in the 3d screens??
 
the sites obviously having problems. The Sun's link now goes to the same Avatar website.
Apparently Apple are having issues with it - surprise surprise!
 
I think it will do a Titanic (not as much of course) and have a steady box office through word of mouth. Especially if Celine is doing the song ;)
