C crystal m New member May 11, 2009 #1 how do u work it? i used too use norton and it was so much easier. It told me what to do and if i wanted to scan for a virus i would press "scan now" but avast just has a tiny grey box. how do i use it?

D Dar New member May 11, 2009 #2 Scanning in avast is also easy. Just right click on the main window select Start Scan->Select scan area->Local Disks. That's it.
