Avant Garde colour photographer/Designer/Artist?

I need the names of photographers, artists and designers who use a very strong element of 'colour' in their work, as part of a photography exam 'colour' brief. Preferably reputable names. I have researched Avant Garde photography, but most I have found comes in black and white.
