I've read all I can find on the autostick feature and think I understand it pretty well, except one thing. When I shift up or down...what do I do besides move the knob left or right? There is no clutch pedal to press, do I need to lift off the gas when I shift? Press the brake pedal lightly to engage the automatic clutch? I have read my owner's manual, believe it or not, and can't find it there either. I just don't want to hurt anything in the transmission.

auto-stick means the clutch is automatic. Just push the shift knob up or down nd go. No need to lift the throttle or tap the brake. Auto-stick isn't as responsive as a regular transmission but it will shift within 1 second of your input (pushing up or down). I have a kia optima that has the auto-stick feature and its the same kind as yours all the way up to the expensive BMW that have auto-stick. Push Up or Down and continue. It wont hurt your transmission as long as your not sport downshifting. I mean by that is wanting to go into 1st gear that would put your engine close to the top RPM's. It wont necessarily hurt the transmission just put alot of stress on it.
