Automatic Sync?

I'm looking for some software that will cause my TX to automatically sync by Bluetooth before I wake in the morning.

Is there such a thing??

Can't remember what timing options there are (and i can't check as mine is bt syncing at the moment), but currently, my palm is set to switch on every 4 hours and if my pc is nearby, it starts syncronising.

it's great.
 
It'd work great if I just hung out at home with my PC.
but if it sniffs for the BT and it doesn't find anything, it freezes, and it turns off the feature til you turn it back on. So you can't even just set it and forget it, which defeats the issue for me. To do what I need, it needs to either have a much longer time period (12 or 24 hours) or a better handling of not-finding the home-machine. :/
 
Hi, sorry it's not working - i'm running btsync on my treo, set to sync to my work pc (and i'm certainly not within sniffing distance of that 24/7...).

i have had the hanging problem that you mention, but only very occasionally - typically when it's come on overnight - and my security app has locked the device.

To be honest, don't know hat to suggest, other than mailing the developer to check known tx compatability problems.
 
Since all Hot Sync's are hardware (or softward) initiated by the handheld all Windows Scheduler would do would be load Hot Sync program into the systray if not already loaded as part of startup. The device has to wakeup the USB port either by a timed sync from the handheld or by the button itself.

Similar with BT so.......but I've been wrong before.
