i recently had some car trouble. used car just bought it with 191,000 miles at present. had it maybe two months. well aparently i have some kind of oil leak going into my spark plugs. i was unaware and my oil completely ran dry while on a two hour road trip. i was in denial that i needed oil in the car because i had just got an oil change three weeks ago. well a lesson learned. but when this all went down the car made a loud rattling noise..the check engine light came on for a few seconds and it immediately cut off just in enought time for me to get of the interstate. does this model and year have the automatic shut off feature? or did it shut off because i blew something. (and ive already wrapped my mind around the fact that im probably buying a new motor...so its ok)
