Auto turn off

I really enjoy my T3 turning off after 2 minutes of non use. BUT, I don't enjoy not having the possiblity to disable this function.
In Preferences, the limit goes from 30 seconds to 3 minutes. There's no option to disable the auto turn off.

Is there something to override this? Sometimes, I NEED my palm to be more then 3 minutes without beeing touched, moved, etc..
 
You can set it to stay on in the cradle - but 3 minutes is the max. The option to stay on in the cradle is immediately below that function under power.

You may also want to look at Keylock settings under preferences.

One more thing - builtin to every Palm is a security feature - if you have this enabled, your device will turn off even if it's in the cradle and that setting is turned to Stay On.

This is by default because otherwise the security setting is worthless if your leave your desk...anyone can get at your data.
 
Older app but works great on my T3. You will have to reset it after a soft reset (defaults to 3 minutes or whatever your system timer has it set to).

Be careful if you select "always on;" anything activating your palm would result in battery failure - it'll just keep on goin'!

I find 5 minutes is best for me - lots of settings available, and it is not a hack but a full fledged app (although only 4k).

Works fine in flash, too.
