G gearhead4 New member Sep 22, 2009 #5 The glass can be cleaned with paint thinner or just scrape it off using a razor blade. The base coat on your exhaust pipe won't hurt anything. If the pipe gets hot enough, the paint will just burn off. I recommend you just leave it.
