Auto aim makes the game too easy...

Hold down lock on tilt up and pop pop dead. Boring as fuck.

So I decided to turn it off. So much better and challenging.

Makes the gunplay plenty more satisfying. Some missions are ridiculously difficult because of this though.

i've been pressing the left trigger half way down. under stats, it shows me @ 80% kills using free aim

Thats how you get really good at shooting then.

The mission where you chase the diamonds with Packie on Charge Island was pretty fucking hard along with the Phil Bell mission robbing the coke off the Russians in the boatyard. Incredibly difficult with no auto aim.

In general auto aim sucks...actually, it always sucks! \o/

I left it in on in single player but I won't play a multiplayer game if it's on.

One of the reasons why I don't play online is that auto aim is usually on in the server options. Fucking gay as hell. Online sucks anyway - too much time waiting in lobbies and partying up.

99% of my kills are with autoaim off. :d

I killed the first fistfight guys with it on, forgot to turn it off.

Shooting is much more satisfying with it off too. Taking down 30 or so cops with free aim feels great.

At least on the 360, the free aiming system kind of sucks... if I had it for PC, I definitely would leave the autoaim off.
