I was hit by another car while at a complete stop at about 40 mph. I am still in pain 2 1/2 months later. Me and the other driver "who has accepted liabilty" both have the same auto insurance. My auto insurance has so far picked up the medical bills but it is running out and now their insurance should pick it up. Well my agent basically said get a lawyer. Why do I need a lawyer and they are giving me a real hard time for every bill, it's a nightmare partially because I'm in so much pain.

lawers make life so much easier lol.
i was in a car accident when i was 14 im 16 now and we had a lot of problems with insurance. lawyers fix so much. without them i wouldnt have gotten $100,000 dollars

You do need a lawyer. With a lawyer they can get you a settlement you'll be pleased with. There are certain lawyers who specialize in Automobile accidents and you'll feel really good once you get it all done.

Your insurance should never have paid. It's THEIR insurance that should be paying. If your bills go beyond their coverage, you need to sue them.

You really need to get an attorney. The insurance company is not there to help you, they're there to save money. It was actually nice of your agent to tell you get a lawyer, though.

Well, first, if the insurance company is giving you a hard time doing what you've paid them to do, a lawyer can help. We were inspected by Terminix before we bought our house and cleared. A year later we had a swarm of termites and old damage. They said if that happened, they would fix it, but we couldn't even get them on the phone. $25 and a letter from a lawyer and the manager was calling us at 7:30 the next morning! Further, a lawyer would be better able to explain your options. Our initial meeting with the lawyer didn't cost anything but it shouldn't cost much if they do charge you.

Good luck! and I hope a doctor can do something about your pain.
