Authors like stephen king and h.p. lovecraft?

Hi I was trying to find authers who write horror fiction stories similar to Stephen King & H.P. Lovecraft. Now I know they both wrote different types of stories not just horror like drama, science fiction, fantasy, etc, but I'm looking for specific types of books. I'm looking for authors who write books that have to do with strange unknown creatures I guess you'd call them monsters and I guess it would fall under horror/science fiction/fantasy genres. To give you and example of what I'm talking about I want to read books almost like From a Buick 8, The Dark Tower series, The Mist (yes short stories are also welcome), and the Cthulhu mythos. Any authors or books well be very much appreciated, thanks in advance sorry for taking so long to explain.
