...among friends, with a partner, etc? My brother is writing a book about euphemisms and could use some help. Did any of you grow up in families that had euphemisms for body parts, body functions, sex organs, sexual activity, intimate apparel, sickness, etc.? Are there interesting stories about how such euphemisms became part of your family conversation? Have you and your partner or current family ever come up with euphemisms known only to you (ones you could use around others with them none the wiser)? Have you ever worked in a setting rich with unique euphemisms? What were some?
