Australian Army!!!!!!!!!!!!?

this year i am graduating high school and need to decide on a career path and was just wondering what anyone thinks about doing a trade apprenticeship in the Australian army. Has anyone or is anyone currently doing a trade in there that could give me some information on what the life and whether it is a good thing to get into. The trades iam interested in are Carpentry or Mechanics. So any information or personal opinion would be great.... Thanx
