The trailers for this film make it look like the most tedious thing I could ever imagine watching.

I watched this tonight via a seefilmfirst.com preview.
2 hours 45 minutes. And it makes you feel each and every one of 'em. It doesn't know what it is... is it a goofy movie about cattle? A movie about WW2? A play on the titanic love story? A hand ringing apology from the white folks to the black folks? It tries to do too much and it's a mess. On top of which it's completely absurd, even by hollywood standarRAB.
And the shame of it is, the first bit about getting cattle to darwin, was actually pretty good fun. But then it gets messier and messier. For 2 hours 45 minutes.
Tourism Australia may will be very happy with their 2h45m advert, but I'd avoid it.

SounRAB excruciating. Austrlia is a gorgeous country but I'd rather watch a genuine doco about it than an almost three hours long advert barely disguised as a film.
