Austin Powers 3

Just been to see Austin Powers 3, and although funny, not as funny as 1 & 2, you can tell its starting to age a bit, but still a must see for anybody who likes 1 & 2! :)

I went to see it yesterday. It was really good although, as said above, not as funny as previous ones. They seemed to use the same jokes as films 1 and 2. I liked how there were a lot of celeb surprises in the film. Once again though mini-me was fantastically funny. The ending is not what I would've expected.

Thats the last one? He said in an interview ages ago he wanted to make them like the bond films every few years.., i was looking forward to an Austin Powers 4 :'(

Molleyyyyyy Mole mole!!

As said, though funny in places, perhaps it was one too many? Too many jokes were re-used, nevermind... very funny all the same :p

Indeed many re-used jokes but I thought it had the edge on no2 :) which was not as good as the first.

Loved the shaddow gag this time round as well - always well done in the AP movies.

I think it has run its course though and maybe Mr Myers should now move on, though it does look like we will have a 4th were Scott turns his father back to the dark side.

I think this is funnier than the 2nd... its not 100% great, but there are some bits that make me laugh just thinking about them..

the bit where doctor evil goes "Abooor" for no reason at the mole guy is hilarious!!

New Line Cinema confirmed that this is the "third and final instalment" in the Austin Powers trilogy.

However because of the success this movie has had so far, making more than $71million over the first few days. This may yet inspire Myers, Roach and New Line Cinema to make a fourth.

Roach has said there are 3 possible scenarios for a 4th movie:
1) Austin and Dr. Evil in the future
2) Austin in space
3) A prequel movie set in the 1960s that would show how Austin launched the "British Invasion" and how Dr. Evil got his start as a Cold War-era villain.

wow, got round to seeing it today :D

I thought it was really funny, especially dr. evil near the beginning sometimes when they were sitting around and he just goes "muuuuuh moooooooh" at everyone! :D

I laughed and laughed and laughed and laughed.

Literally.

OK ... maybe more than four times but not many. I liked the surprise beginning and the self-aware Godzilla bit (clever) but hell there really was a load of utter sh!te in between.

I also didnt think it was as good as 1 or 2. I saw him in an interview say that he would be happy to keep making them as long as people keep seeing them. Was it me or was Austin not as horny and jokey this time and Dr Evil not as, well...evil?! The characters didnt seem as funny as before. I did love the cameos though!
