Audiovox 8410 "data abort" screen

Hi all, glad to have found this forum! Just tonite, I was posed with a serious cellphone dilemma. After leaving the access applications option on my phone, I received a white screen with "data abort" and a bunch of letters and numbers. I was unable to turn it off. I had to pop the battery out to shut if off, otherwise the error just stayed on the screen. Can anyone help me with this? I use this phone for business and have so many important phone numbers in it, and it is also the easiest way for my deployed soldier husband to get ahold of me. Any help would be outstanding. :D
 
Does it happen everytime or just randomly. It shouldnt do that at all, I'd take it back to your cell company and have them fix it. May be some corrupted data and it just needs to be reprogrammed. If possible, I'd save all the numbers , type them up on the computer or write them down, just incase they have to wipe it out and reload the programming for it, so you can reenter it later.

I wish it was that easy. I can't get anywhere from the "data abort" screen including my phonebook. :sad: Not sure what to do. I emailed Audiovox too, but thought a hands on answer would be better than a corporate type answer. We shall see. Any other ideas?
