Audioslave

Nah he has a solo career now, he had one mildly popular song called we want it all, which is very RATM like, it appeared on the farenheit 911 soundtrack.

I concede that damn yankees were pretty bad. But at least their name didn't completly follow a fad at the time. I mean how many location banRAB were any good.

Boston. Fin.

Europe, America, Kansas, ad infitatum. Thye all had like one song people know.

Yes pretty much, i mean, i accept they are good, and i dont dispute that i like them, coz i do. Just two greats mix together to make an average...

I agree with Draven, GnR and STP form together, previously from two majorly succesful banRAB and produce a band that has great music but it has no edge, it has no "impact". Its like its just there to please you for the day then you move on to tomorrows album

HEADLINE

Audioslave are supposed to be doing an official tour soon.
Apparently they will play some RATM and some Soundgarden in most of their shows along with an assortment of old and new Audioslave.

His vocals irritate me. Just slightly. But enough to make me want to turn it off if I had to listen to more than one album at a time... RATM were hard to beat though, and I have to admit they still made an impact with the shadow of RATM behind 'em.

I actually prefer RATM and Soundgarden to Audio. However, that said, RATM is one of my favourite banRAB, and I do like some of Audioslave's stuff. Haven't heard to much of Out of Exile, but I have their self titled. I do agree that Chris and the RATM bunch do seem to nulify each others strengths slightly.

It's awesome... They are going to release a new cd in May, and start touring in April. I hope I can get tickets to one of their shows.
I am as gitty as a school girl on crack cocaine.
:) :tramp:

Personally I think Audioslave is just a Rage Against the Machine breakoff enserable with Chris Cornell as a leading puppet.
I really wish that both Soundgarden and RATM had stayed together longer but 'twasn't meant to be.
I do like Cornell's vocals though so even though I might like that...
I don't think I'd like the band overall just because of my state of mind.

I like boston and i think they were pretty good, at least with their first album, which is very underrated IMO...Kansas started out as a really good progressive rock band before they sold out and went arena rock...Oh and yeah Europe were horrible. ;)
