ATTN: Israel, I have the solution to your problem.

I really ought to sleep so I can't go into the nitty-gritty of this, but I can understand your perspective and how your argument seems logical, but I feel that you're holding the Lebanese people to an unbearable standard. It seems that when the Lebanese view a nation as a threat to their own interest, you're holding them to a far different standard then when we do it ourselves, as is the case with much of the middle east and North Korea right now. And don't think this current conflict is simply a case of Israel attacking Lebanon because of a couple rockets. This conflict is a lot deeper and has a lot more complications. There's a lot more issues at play, such as control of coastline, access to the Jordan River, etc.

That's absurd. If some group of megalomaniacs decided to overrun our electoral system and consolidate a ridiculous amount of power in the federal government due to their immense wealth and use it maintain their power and advance their economic interests throughout the world at the expense of the lives of their own soldiers, are we consenting? No, we were powerless to stop it.

The problem is more the fact that they cant perfect it, no one can as we know it, and they're not going to kill every person that opposes their state because they would have to kill almost every single human on earth.

perhaps you should get some rest.. i should as well.. but i might stay up to read i have finals coming up

but i may not be an expert in the history and politics and conflict of the middle east.. i just know enough that xenophobia and the hatred for the jews by the islamic countries is a primary reason why this conflict has been going on and on..

mutual cooperation obviously isn't an option.. otherwise the conflict would have superseded a long time ago

Then as a closing statement, perhaps looking into the source of the hatred of the Jews might be a worthy investment of your time. While in many regards, you're right, it is just hatred, probably spewed out by Islamic leaders to incite people into obedience. On the other hand, the way Israel has treated the people of Palestine, as well as other policy in the region, has brewed a lot of anger.

'night

ahh great statement.. something i wanted to hear.. i honestly didn't want to see another "its Palestine's land" post..

but sure it takes 2 people to have a fight, not to mention a country.. both are at fault.. i don't know how Israel treated the people of Palestine... from what i recall, they tried to cooperate? i could be wrong...

night fellas

wouldnt it make more sense if Israel just got kicked the fuck out of the middle east than if Israel just started going from arab country to country killing everyone and changing the governments, if several countries around you want you to leave its less of a headache and will take less time for that 1 country to leave than to change all the countries all around you

I hear theres some good real estate in Greenland

Better solution: Abolish all support for the Israeli government then provide support and cooperation to Islamic states in the region with the aim of supplying economic development and friendship, and when they desire to attack Israel, blockade the Israeli coast and bombard Haifa and Tel Aviv with tomahawks, then, once Israel is destroyed, we will be looked at as the saviors instead of supporters of Zionist oppression.

America CAN have a relationship with the Islamic world based off of peace and cooperation, simply look at how we were able to support the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan, until we turned our back on them.
