ATTENTION: Track ball multi-color notification WORKS on FROYO!

Hello everybody,

I've installed froyo a.k.a android 2.2 on my N1 manually. I've got every feature working perfectly. But most awaiting two features are not working.

1. Multicolored Trackball Notification
2. FM radio.

When I get missed call/SMS notification, still the trackball glows white.
And no FM application provided with froyo.

Please flash some lights on this guys.

i was also hoping for the FM transmitter to be enabled, but it's not. as for the color trackball, i'm pretty sure it's up to the apps to use it. i have seen my trackball flash green when i have a google voice notification.
 
yes, dam right. handcent SMS now allows you to change trackball LED color for incoming SMS notification.

go to the handcent sms receive settings; under notification settings, go to LED color! and voila! now you can change the color!!!!

magenta is bangin! now waitin for gmail notifier and missed call to get their act together and update their apps to take advantage of froyo's support of muti color track ball LED!
 
nice find, this is going on the tweak list. chomp sms probably works too

Actually, I've different snapshot in my mind about multi-colored trackball. I thought that basic OS notifications will make the trackball glows multi-colored. But I was wrong.
 
Keep in mind, that they may be another froyo update sent in the next coming weeks for the nexus one.. there's reports that the 2.2 we're all using is a pre alpha version
