I used an alternate method on t-mobile.I have found on my 8700G, that you can go to options > MMS > Multimedia Reception, and > Automatic Retreival should be set to always. By default my MMS was going to t-mobile website for retrieval until I changed it.

I was getting this too. Which method works best? Deleting ALL service books or just the MMS service book? I followed the steps that Rico described but want to know which is the best method. Thanks.

Ok i followed flash's step..i tried sending myself a pic,is it always, RETRIEVE NOW? I have a pearl. does the pic doesnt come up on the phone right away?

All you have to do is delete the mms service book. I did that and it works fine. Could vary per handset tho.

or you can send yourself an mms and when you enter your number enter 1xxx-xxx-xxxx and send then that also frees it up.

T-Mobile has been having problems with their MMS (sending and recieving), I just hope they fix this soon.

It does takes a while to retrieve an MMS file, sometimes it would fail. But they said their working on this problem.
