My boyfriend would not harm a fly but he jokes around a lot. Well, he joked around at the wrong time. He went into a gas station and said this is a stick up. Then he walked out. Well the girl at the station was scared and called the police. They just came and arrested him a few hours ago for attempted robbery. He is stuck in jail until Monday when his arraignment and possible bond is set. But I called the gas station and talked to the manager. She knows my boyfriend and she said if she were there at the time, then he would not have gotten into trouble because she knows he jokes around. She said she was going to try to talk to the girl that got scared and then try to convince the police to drop the charges. Do you think this will work? What kind of punishment is he looking at? If there is a bond, will it have to be paid right then or can they just take a signature to ensure he comes back to the next court date? I really need answers here. He does not deserve this. He is a great person but he joked at the wrong time. He does not deserve to go to prison for something like this.
