Attack Attack

You could be nice about it, dude.

Well, I'm not really a big fan of the genre. To me, Attack Attack seems to be another one of these cookie cutter banRAB that people are calling "Post-Hardcore" now. Which, they aren't, but whatever.

I like music with something intellectual to offer or something that makes me think "Wow, never seen that done in music before." Or even "Wow! I haven't heard that in a loooong time!". Sadly, Attack Attack, IWABO, BMTH, and any other band these days has neither that "wow" factor and more importantly, raw genuine talent.

I'm sure they are all great musicians, but it doesn't show because they backed into this "corner" in which they feel they have to give in to the temptation of being another mediocre teenage phase.

But you like them, I don't. That's just my opinion. Just wanted to offer some intelligent debate.

I wasn't impressed with the first album at all. TBH I thought it was generic garbage. That's why I was surprised when the new album was as good as it was.

Looks like tix are $20, which isn't too bad, considering the venue. They are also playing with Emmure, who I wouldn't mind seeing either. I've had their album for a while now too, and it's heavy as ****.

i saw this new interview about attack attack that really sums up what they are all about, they say they are coming up with a new album that will be like nothing we've heard so idk we will see.

That's all cool. But have you even listened to anyof their albums? Because that seems like a pretty vague post and also seems pretty judgemental based on little to no actual experience.

Yeah, well I mean I'm pretty sure I See Stars is on the whole tour...they post like a hundred MySpace bulletins about it lol.

You sure are doing a great job ignoring it. (Sorry, don't mean to be a **** haha)

Yeah, Cincinnati Ohio. I guess that's why they are so big over here. I didn't know they were from Colurabus.

I disagree. I really like Katy Perry to tell the truth. I think she's cool and I love moshing no matter what band is up there as long as they play mosh-type music. Attack Attack plays music you can mosh to so I do. I don't think they are all two original either. From what I heard its just another "electrocore" "popcore" or "techncore" "whateverthe****core" kind of band. Nothing all to special really. Just fun to rock out to at shows.

Attack Attack! is nothing without Austin Carlile,
Of Mice & Men will also not be as good without him but i do believe they will have more success then Attack Attack!

I like Emmure too, I have their album also. (: That ticket isn't that bad at all then, if they're both playing. To me, Attack Attack!'s latest album was a little more diverse, like they mixed it up some.

Yes I have. I don't go making blind statement without having listened to at least 5 songs by them. They weren't GOD AWFUL, not by a long shot. But there is improvement to be made. But like said, they may not all be bad musicians or singers, but it has yet to be seen.

Yeah, like every other pop scene-core band out there.. Asking Alexandria doesn't sound anything remotely close to this? They've got nothing going for them, except for dull instruments and whiny vocals..

And people who mosh / moshed to this? Pfft, most can't.. I've watched them perform standing in line for Parkway Drive, let me tell you somethin' it was the most terrible pit I've seen of my entire life..You wanna talk about kiRAB in skinny jeans flailing about like they have no Idea? Well yeah you get the picture.

I mean, Katy Perry is good. I just inserted the word "like" in the context of when you say "yeah so ya know like i was like going here and like ", like that haha.

But people that I overheard are like the scene people that are all thinking they are badass and hardcore cause they mosh to that stuff.

They are like oh yeah that's so awesome and heavy! But hate anything that's heavier, like Metallica, Megadeth, Bullet For My Valentine, the only genre they think is good is scene/hardcore music.

I like it too, but there is much more.

I love the song Bro, Ashley's Here. The chorus is very good.

Okay haha thanks for clearing that up. I heard she's awful live though.
You could call me a "scenester" I suppose by the way I dress. I don't really listen to scene music anymore. But over here in Cincinnati the scene kiRAB like really heavy banRAB but they don't always play great music and are only popular for a month.
Right now the popular stuff is:
Boom Snap Clap - The Irish Front
WhiteChapel
and then some band with May in the title (no, not Mayday Parade.. ew)

P.S
The screamer sounRAB a lot like Spencer Charaberlain on Underoath's new album.

oh, please. time to quit worrying about being 'type-cast'. I know I'm one to be talking since I probably already am, but I'm just honestly not that concerned about it. I'm thinking it might just be a little bit of time waste when people are going to think what they want regardless. Just my useless opinion for the day. (:
