ATT tilt (broken screen help)

hey guys i just got my tilt like two weeks ago and as you may know it has a touch screen so it has that top screen over the lcd. well some girl cracked the very top of the screen but the main lcd is not damaged. is it possible to fix that top piece if so how and where do i get the replacement? i called att and they said they would fix it but its close to 200 dollars so id rather do it myself cause that part prob costs around 10 dollars.
